Obviously the US loves its guns more than its children. The NRA has created a culture of fear that leads people to believe that guns are the only thing keeping them safe from their neighbours, their government, the Russians and the king. The American people, who could be convinced that their shadows possess weapons of mass destruction, happy lay their children on the altar of the 2nd amendment in exchange for the delusion of security. Yet when their people take losses fighting a war to keep the bad guys from the door, suddenly guns don’t work anymore and they need to turn tail and run. What a sad fearful people.

LMFAO guns, alcohol and testosterone…..sounds like the Alamo. Not a good idea at all.
And yes, mine is locked up where the PIT will never find it. It’s locked up when it’s left a home alone too….I don’t need some gangbanger robbing me, taking my gun and then shooting ME with it. (Which is something that would totally happen to me)
Before I even got the gun I took as many classes as I could get into and even went to my father (the redneck gun toting, Ford loving, proud to be an American) for lessons. We may not always get along but he knows guns and takes gun safety very seriously….he did teach me more than I learned in all the classes I took combined.
In all honesty, I don’t care if I ever shoot it. But I am dying to pistol whip someone with it…

However, as I single woman, with a child to protect and a past that could kill me (and having been robbed once) I conceal and carry. Sadly, even that doesn’t make me feel ‘safe’. Have you noticed that the crazy level has increased dramatically over the years?! I can’t watch the news anymore without sitting there looking at the tv like “what the fuckin fuck?!”
It’s a crazy scary world out there….which is why I stay home:)

Knowing what I know about your past… I’m not surprised… I’m also sure you’re intelligent enough to never allow the slightest chance that the PIT is going to get anywhere near it.
I however couldn’t leave the house during the day knowing it was in my house. I also think that most people are too emotionally immature for the responsibility.
Virginia’s recent idiocy about allowing firearms in BARS does nothing but prove my point. Do you really think it is wise to put firearms alcohol and testosterone in the same place? It’s a really bad mix.
