The debt ceiling deal that congress just passed ”saves” us an estimated $2 to $3 Trillion dollars over 10 years. If Congress’ idiotic antics to get this bill passed causes a downgrade in the US’s credit rating, it will cost us between $1 and $2 Trillion dollars…PER YEAR in increased interest costs.
